The untouched Costa Custodia shoreline is teeming with abundant wildlife, including those of the edible variety: fish!  You’re sure to see local fishing pangas out in the distance working the bountiful waters above the reefs.   If you’d like to try your hand a little closer to shore, casting directly into the surf often returns just as promising results.

Guests pull pounds of Jack Crevale, Sierra Mackerel and Rooster Fish right out of the water directly in front of the villas.  Wake early in the morning or head out in the evening sun for best results.  Watch the pelicans flying overhead.  If they start diving into the waves for lunch, chances are you can pull in the same thing.  Nearly all villas come complete with outdoor BBQ grill in case you’re wondering, “What will I do with all the fish”?  Our local cooks are happy to incorporate your catches into their authentic, delicious dishes as well.
